History
Arlington College was established at the urging of Edward Emmett Rankin, an Arlington civic leader, to improve the availability of quality education in the recently founded rural town. Lee M. Hammond and William M. Trimble were the founding co-principals of the institution.

University Housing provides the best possible housing at a reasonable cost to residents, while at the same time providing more than just the basic physical needs of the apartments, houses, and residence hall rooms.
The purpose for having residence halls is not simply to provide residents a place to sleep. UTA is striving to create an environment where emotional, social, cultural, academic and recreational growth and development may be enhanced. Through residence hall programs and activities, this student development concept can be realized.

UT Arlington Health Services is an ambulatory health care facility fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Health Services’ mission is to support academic success by providing excellent health care and promoting wellness. Campus life
The University of Texas at Arlington is located in Tarrant County, also known as the mid-city area.
It's centrally located between Dallas (to the east) and Fort Worth (to the west). Arlington is easily accessible and is located 30 minutes from the two major airports in the metroplex—DFW International Airport and Love Field.
Less than two miles from AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park, where the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, respectively, play, and less than three miles from Six Flags Over Texas, UTA is just a stone's throw away from the excitement the city has to offer.

With more than 300 campus organizations, more than 10,000 students living on or adjacent to campus, and a constant flow of speakers, entertainers, and musicians visiting year-round, UTA has an unstoppable energy.

My overall study experience at my university was great. Classes taught me the theoretical side of journalism and communications, and I worked at my college's newspaper where I applied what I learned in the classroom into the real world.

There is a large international student population. It has a very diverse student population. The faculty at this university is helpful. Class size is just right so students can know other students while also getting individual attention from professors.

UTA boasts of very dedicated tutors who are always ready to go the extra mile in order for their students to succeed. I truly admire the diversity that is present on campus. Regardless of where you come from, you are almost guaranteed to find others. There are several amenities present on campus. Overall, I recommend UTA wholeheartedly to anyone who is ready to learn.
