Founded in 1861 by a private gift of 10 acres in what is now the heart of downtown Seattle, the UW is one of the oldest public universities on the West Coast.

IT Services provides information systems support for University of Washington Medicine. Its core purpose is about making a difference through the use of information technology for the teaching, research and clinical mission.

Campus life

The UW is a multi-campus university in Seattle, Tacoma and Bothell, as well as a world-class academic medical center.

Sports facilities

Club Sports are voluntary Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) established by students who are motivated by a common interest to participate in a specific sport or physical activity. Clubs offer a program of instructional, recreational or competition-based activity; but should not be confused with varsity sports, which are administered by the University of Washington Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and regulated by the NCAA.

I study at UDC Civil Engineering and Architecture. I will recommend the school if you are working extra full time as myself since the program and professors are very flexibles for that. Great personal experience!

Seattle is a beautiful city with a very diverse culture and a bountiful set of courses you can take as an undergraduate. I met so many people that helped me along the way and some that I still remain close with. You will never run out of things to do in Seattle, ranging from hiking to music to outdoor festivals. The campus was architecturally stunning. Walking around the campus daily was breath...
