General requirements

The UW Graduate School’s minimum requirements for admission include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, and minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4 point scale) for the last 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits. Applicants who do not meet the GPA requirement are encouraged to contact the IAS Graduate Office to discuss options for strengthening their application.
