All students interested in applying for the Saving Smiles Scholarship must submit a 500-word essay responding to the following prompt: What will you do after graduating from dental school, and how will the Saving Smiles Scholarship support your career aspirations?
Alongside the essay, they ask that all applicants provide proof of acceptance or enrollment at an accredited dental school or in a relevant undergraduate program. Applicants should also provide proof of ineligibility for FAFSA assistance with their application and a professional headshot.
