Anticipated Experience at the university of Toront
Based on my research, I am impressed by the University of Toronto’s excellent academic programs, innovative research opportunities, and welcoming, diverse campus community. Although I have not yet studied there, I am confident that the university’s support services and resources will help me adapt and succeed. I look forward to a rewarding and engaging experience that will allow me to grow both academically and personally.
A platform that gave my future back to me
My journey with StudyPortals began at a moment when my dreams felt far away. As a student in Nigeria who has always imagined creating technologies that let humans feel the sky—jetpacks, wearable flight suits, and aircraft beyond today’s possibilities—I often felt limited by the lack of labs and learning resources around me. I built projects at home, experimented with whatever materials I could find, and tried to keep my imagination alive through persistence and creativity. But I still wondered whether I would ever have the chance to study in a university that could give me the knowledge, tools, and environment to turn these ideas into real inventions. Finding StudyPortals changed everything. For the first time, I saw a path that connected where I am with where I want to be. I discovered universities I had only dreamed about, programs that aligned with my passion for aerospace, and scholarship opportunities that gave me hope at a time when money felt like the biggest wall blocking my future. Using StudyPortals made me feel seen. It made me realize that students like me—students who come from places where resources are limited but imagination is limitless—still have a chance. It helped me understand my options, compare programs, and feel confident that my dream of designing aircraft, exploring space innovation, and contributing to Nigeria’s development is possible. What I like most is how the platform simplifies what once felt overwhelming. It doesn’t just list programs; it gives direction. It doesn’t just show options; it shows possibilities. The one thing that could be improved is creating even more support for students from under-resourced backgrounds who rely heavily on scholarships and guidance. Overall, StudyPortals has been more than a website for me. It has been a doorway—one that transformed confusion into clarity, doubt into determination, and a distant dream into a realistic future I can work for. It reminded me that even with challenges, imagination still has a place in this world, and with the right opportunity, I can build the technologies I’ve always envisioned.
Holistic care and quality experience
My overall study experience at my college was exciting since the lecturers gave us the chance to go for internship doing practicals and not just theoretical learning, teaching us how to care for patients in a holistic manner especially when dealing with the elderly and neonates since they are more fragile in giving oath most quality care.

Medical services
University of Toronto students have basic health insurance coverage through either Provincial Health Insurance.

Sports facilities
The RAWC, the Recreation, Athletics and Wellness Centre opened in September of 2006. The new facility compliments our existing space and provides much needed additional facilities such as: a 25 metre, 8 lane pool, 12 person hot pool, double gymnasium with seating for 880 spectators, new fitness centre, new studio, indoor running track and a sports medicine clinic.
