Description
The NTU Research Scholarship is awarded to outstanding graduate students for research.
Benefits
The award is tenable for one (1) year in the first instance and is renewable subject to good progress. The maximum period of the Scholarship is two (2) years for Master's candidates and four (4) years for PhD candidates, as determined by school as well as availability of research funding in each case.
Monthly Stipend:
Singapore Citizen (PhD and Master's): S$3,800
Singapore Permanent Resident (PhD): S$3,400
Singapore Permanent Resident (Master's): S$3,000
International Student (PhD): S$3,000
International Student (Master's): S$2,900
For scholars who pass the Ph.D. Qualifying Examination/Confirmation, he/she may be eligible for an additional stipend of up to $500 per month.
In addition to the monthly stipend, the award also covers the annual tuition fee.
Scholarship coverage and award terms are subject to change. The university reserves the right to vary the amount of the Award stipend at any time.
Eligibility
- You are eligible for this scholarship if you are a local or international student seeking admission as a full-time candidate pursuing a Graduate Research programme at NTU.
- You must have a minimum of Honours (Distinction) or its equivalent.
