Description
The Gentile Family Endowed Scholarship in Engineering was created by Mr. and Mrs. Zachary and Dana Gentile. An Aim of this scholarship is to support students who fall short of qualifying for aid due to family income, where preference is given to candidates with family income at the middle tier level but not upper tier level.

Eligibility
Recipients of the Gentile Family Endowed Scholarship in Engineering will be selected from applicants meeting the following eligibility requirements:
- Applicants must be currently admitted to and enrolled in a degree-granting program in Engineering at the University.
- Applicants must be classified as a sophomore or above.
- Applicants should demonstrate solid academic promise and achievement and have earned at least an overall 3.5 grade point average in coursework completed prior to the time of awarding.
- Preference will be given to students for whom affordability may be an obstacle and who might otherwise be unable to attend the University
