Overview
The Master in Aerospace Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa was created with the aim of filling a gap in the future market, focusing, essentially but not only, on the challenges involving small and medium-sized aerospace devices (capable of operating up to 700 km in altitude). This Master provides a solid advanced education, training highly qualified masters for national and international positions in the aerospace industry, government agencies and academia.
At the end of the study cycle, students will have acquired knowledge and skills in areas that include:
- Design and integration of aircraft and avionics
- Flight dynamics, operations and communications
- Fluid dynamics and aerodynamics

General requirements
- To enter the Master in Aerospace Engineering, students must be holders of a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent in the areas of: Aerospace Engineering, or Aeronautical Engineering, or Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering, or in Physics Engineering, or in Technological Physics Engineering, or similar;
- OR holders of a Bachelor's degree or legal equivalent in the areas of Engineering or Eng. Sciences in general, with admission to the program subject to curricular assessment and interview;
- OR holders of a foreign higher academic degree awarded following a first cycle of studies in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process in the aforementioned areas; OR holders of an academic, scientific, or professional curriculum, which is recognized as attesting the ability to carry out this study cycle by the Scientific Council of FCT NOVA.
