Approved by State Council Academic Degrees Committee, the Communication and Information Systems program from Ningbo University has granted a master degree since 2001.

Key Features

It is one major research direction in the top-key first-class disciplines and the first-class (Class A) disciplines in Zhejiang Province.

The CIS program is strongly supported by the Information and Communication Engineering discipline which offers first-class Master programs, and first-class PhD programs, and postdoctoral workstations.

The research area of the CIS program mainly includes but not limited to mobile and broadband wireless communications, key technology in next-generation mobile communication, software technology in mobile terminals, radio frequency technology, fiber radio technology, multimedia communications.
Other topics include information security, optical communications technology, optical fiber sensing technology, infrared electromagnetic information systems and new functional materials and devices and so on.
