I have enjoyed the education at Boise State, but feel limited to the states cultural and lack of diversity that I find to be critical in a well rounded education.
The university overall is not very diverse and does not make intentional effort to support programs for diversity such as their diversity club. The history department has no representation outside of white professors. Upon graduating, it is hard to find support either from faculty or departments in taking the next steps.
My university has a high level of teaching. I like that there is a lot of opportunity to realize the potential. I would improve the organization of training.
