The Bettersworth Law Firm established the Justice for All Scholarship to help support and advocate for students brave enough to pursue careers dedicated to the service of others.
The Bettersworth Law Firm is committed to fostering the next generation of legal professionals through the Justice for All Scholarship.
By investing in these future leaders, our firm aims to empower them to impact their communities positively and uphold the principles of fairness and integrity. The Justice for All Scholarship embodies the firm’s dedication to supporting individuals committed to justice and advocacy. The winner of our scholarship can use the award toward academic expenses, such as tuition, textbooks, room and board, and more.
A $1,000 award to aspiring individuals pursuing careers in legal, law enforcement, pre-law, or government who exhibit a passion for justice and equality.
To be considered for our Spring 2025 Justice for All Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Students interested in applying for our scholarship must submit documentation, including proof of enrollment for the Fall 2024 semester, an academic transcript demonstrating GPA requirements, and the student’s major/course of study. They also ask applicants to submit an essay of approximately 500 words, answering the following prompt:
Why do you want to enter this profession? Please make sure to include how your life has been impacted by a member of the legal community.
Essay Grading Criteria:
Their team will review applications that satisfy all specified eligibility requirements. When evaluating a student’s essay, they will consider the following:
Applicants' essays must completely answer the prompt
Applicants’ essays must feature well-organized writing with a clear focus and creative content
Applicants’ essays must have a unique voice and style that effectively encapsulates their passion for pursuing a legal or law enforcement career
