The Office of Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities (ORSCA), a unit in the Division of Academic Affairs, provides research development support services to the university community. The Student Health Center provides high-quality, affordable health care and health education for the students of Cal State LA to preserve and enhance their potential for academic success and personal development. It also seeks to serve as the primary health resource for the University and health advocate for the campus community.
Campus facilities are maintained to ensure public safety. Many events held on campus are open to the public, including those at the bookstore, library, and food court. Access to academic and administrative facilities on campus is generally limited to students, employees, and visitors for the purpose of study, work, teaching, and other University business.
