Founded in 1980, NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti is the largest private art academy in Italy. It offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Italian and English that are accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).
Our professors are key to the success of our approach. They are highly skilled educators who are also practicing art and design professionals. They come from leading design and architecture studios, fashion companies, advertising and marketing agencies, and arts and culture institutes. Some are renowned art curators, designers, critics, published authors, or regular contributors to influential art and design magazines. All bring a current, real-world perspective to their lectures and group projects, through which they inspire students to learn, experiment, and grow.
NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti adopts an internal evaluation system of teaching and research activities, interventions on right to education and administrative management in accordance with the procedures of the Quality System UNI and ministerial regulations.
NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti’s Career Services & Industry Relations Office can provide you with support and guidance during your transition from the academy to the professional world. Our staff can help you develop self-promotion tools and assist you during your first steps into the world of work.

The Student Life Office provides several non- educational services directed at facilitating student integration at NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti. These services range from assistance with bureaucratic issues, to healthcare and social life matters. Activities promoting integration include the welcoming of new groups of students, leisure time courses and courses encouraging personal growth, such as meditation, bio dance and yoga, cine-forum, weekend trips and excursions out-of-town, in addition to social and musical events on campus.
Student Care is a new service offered by NABA to its students, especially to students with specific learning disabilities (SLD) and physical disabilities.
NABA supports BA, MA and Master students in finding accommodation (minimum permanence 12 months) offering, through selected agencies and private owners, single or double rooms in apartments shared with other students and/or single apartments.
NABA’s library collection contains more than 12,000 books, 50 magazine subscriptions, and 400 DVDs about various fields (graphic design, art, architecture, cinema), all for your free use in a quiet and beautiful place. The collection also hosts the degree theses of all our students from 2007 until the present.
NABA is equipped with an intranet computer infrastructure connecting the over 200 computers available on campus.
