Campus life

UNO is located in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska, its roads winding through city parks and thriving neighborhoods, creating an extraordinary connection that few universities have achieved. The city itself has truly become a part of the UNO campus.

Sports facilities

Baxter Arena opened on campus in October 2015. The arena seats 7,500 and houses men’s hockey, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, and numerous community events. Baxter Arena not only enhances the visibility of the UNO campus, but also provides great benefits, both economically and socially, to the Omaha metropolitan area.

Overall, I very much enjoyed my time at UNO. The majority of my professors were fantastic, and I found a wonderful faculty support system as I advanced in my degree.
