History
The institution's curriculum and organization of its academic programs have evolved to include 15 colleges and schools. The current title reflects the institution's commitment to research, as well as the breadth of its programs.

Top notch classes
The school professors are pretty amazing at teaching and covering the syllabus. Problem solving skills are top notch and clear headed. Every second in class counts well. All students are made special and no side treatment.
Campus safety needs serious attention
The campus is getting unsafe each year since Philadelphia crime has been rising. Each day, students are receiving numerous alerts on the Citizen app. There's been an increase of burglary, assault, and carjacking. Each time something big happens, the university sends out a basic email saying to stay together in groups, stay in lit areas, and be aware of your surroundings, but there hasn't been much preventative measures being taken. Moreover, the university focuses on portraying such a good, clean image to incoming students and their families, but once you're in, you can tell that the university cares more about making money and building its name and reputation than it cares about its students.
Engaging Online Study, Slow Admin
The university itself is a great, especially as far as my experience in the College of Computing and Informatics. My professors are attentive, responsive, and knowledgeable on the subject areas. Though, I am only an online student and cannot speak to the on-campus experience, the off-campus resources and opportunities are definitely fruitful for those who are online. Even the online courses make us feel like we belong and are part of the University. I have heard some negative things about the campus itself, but I have yet to experience that so I will not be able to say. As far as the administrative staff, I think there is definitely a lot of room for improvement, especially streamlining the application and enrollment process, and make the information more accessible for potential applicants. In my experience, I was forced to delay my enrollment by a quarter because their office did not readily process my transcripts, even though it was beyond the 3 week window.

Campus life
Drexel University's lively urban campus is located in one of America's most exciting cities — Philadelphia. In a world-class city for business, art, and education, Philadelphia's skyscrapers are coupled with a blend of distinct and culturally diverse neighborhoods, creating a unique metropolitan yet intimate urban experience.
Surrounded by tree-lined residential blocks just minutes away from Philadelphia's downtown Center City district, Drexel makes its home in the neighborhood of University City. Comprised of five additional universities and dotted by coffee shops, restaurants, shops, and farmers markets, University City is just one of the many reasons Philadelphia makes an ideal place for students.
Sports facilities
Drexel Athletics are a big part of campus culture. Each year, more than 9,000 students participate in club or intramural sports. The list of athletic opportunities is extensive, including everything from ultimate frisbee and track to rugby and water polo. The number of options available and the level of participation are limited only by the interest of each student.
Student clubs
Drexel students have the best of all worlds — a booming campus culture located in the heart of one of America's great cities. There's no one type of Drexel student and the University's clubs and activities reflect its diversity. There's something (or probably two or three "somethings") for everyone.
