Drexel University’s online Master’s in Education Improvement and Transformation is designed for innovators seeking to lead academic, organizational, and technological reform across a variety of settings, such as K-12 schools, higher education, government, and non-profit organizations.


Professional Development Concentration Sets

The Set topics are of paramount importance to today's educators: Creativity & Innovation, Educational Policy, Evaluation & Assessment, Leadership in Educational Settings, Learning Technologies, and Urban Education.

Students work with their advisor to develop a course of study that is grounded in their specific career goals, taking a total of four for 36 credits. A course on Evaluation and Assessment, as well as a Capstone Project are required for completion.

EIT Degree Options

The Concentration Sets are also offered as Professional Development Certificates, for those students who have a desire for a particular skill set but are unable to commit to a degree program immediately. Credits earned in the certificate program may then be applied to the accredited master's degree when the student is ready and upon acceptance.*

  • Personal Statement (500 - 750 words) describing your interest in the program
  • If you've previously attended college outside of the United States, an official course-by-course transcript evaluation may be required.
