Founded on August 6, 1868 as the “Scuola Superiore di Commercio” (Advanced School for Commerce), Ca' Foscari was the first Italian institution to deal with advanced education in Business and Economics. The original main office is still found in the grand gothic palace “volta de canal” (on the bend of the Grand Canal), in the heart of Venice.
Ca’ Foscari is ranked third in Italy for the excellence of its research, and it has earned so many of the coveted European Commission Marie Curie research fellowships that it is one of Europe’s ten most successful universities in this regard. The University has good infrastructure and very good teachers, with a friendly environment for international students, my study experience as of yet has been nothing but good, however i would love to see more diversity in the programs for some of us international Students.
the university is well structured, each year is made up by four trimesters, and after each trimester there are exams. this allow students to better follow the courses, better concentrate on them and have good results on tests.
