ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND ADMISSION

• Candidates must be assessed to confirm their possession of the minimum curricular and experiential requirements.

• For the Global Environmental Change curriculum, a certified B2-level knowledge of English is required; for the other curricula, a certified B2-level knowledge of both Italian and English is required.

DOUBLE/JOINT DEGREE AVAILABLE

Joint Master’s degree in Sustainable Development with Karl-Franzens Universität Graz (Austria), Leipzig University (Germany), Utrecht University (Netherlands), Basel University (Switzerland), Hiroshima University (Japan). Stellenbosch University (South Africa) and Teri University (India) are additional partner universities. The selection procedure is managed by a consortium through a dedicated portal.

        • An adequate personal preparation

        Personal preparation is understood as an adequate acquisition of knowledge and understanding of the disciplines of Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/ecology and Earth and Social Sciences

        Personal preparation will be verified by the Didactic College through the evaluation of CV, that reserves the right to call the candidate to an oral interview.

        The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.

        Funding

        • In order to ensure that everyone effectively has access to higher education, Ca' Foscari offers students a variety of financial aid: scholarships, exemptions and reduction of fees, student loans, prizes for outstanding dissertations and other forms of concession.
        • Some of the student loans involve agreements with banks allowing students to pay tuition fees on favourable terms. The most deserving students are entitled to an interest-free advance repayable a year after graduation.  
        • Students are also given the opportunity to participate in forms of student collaborations involving paid jobs within the university.
