Overview
The Master's Degree Programme offers four curricula: South-East Asia (entirely taught in English) and Chinese, Japanese and Arabic (entirely taught in Italian).
The program allows students to acquire high language and communication skills, combined with a solid knowledge of the current institutional and socio-economic reality in the geographical area of specialization. In particular, the following will be studied:
- Sectoral languages in the legal, political, economic and social fields;
- Recent institutional systems and socio-economic changes, viewed from a historical perspective;
- The relationship between national processes and the wider regional and global context;
- Research methods and tools, including computer science.
The student develops analytical and intercultural communication skills across different sectors. The achievement of training objectives is guaranteed by the presence of teachers specialized in the disciplines and geographical areas covered by the course.

Graduates can find employment with businesses and financial institutions operating in Asianand North African markets, with national and international public organisations, with volunteer facilities and institutions operating in cooperation with these and in development sectors.

Ca’ Foscari University offers 20 high-achieving international students, intersted in a master degree programme, renewable scholarship packages of 10,000 euro a year
