Established 75 years ago by the former Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University, Keele created the blueprint for modern-day higher education in Britain. Amazing learning Experience in the Heart of keele
Being in a journey of higher studies in a foreign country is unique experience itself, yet at the same time it gives us not only academic knowledge but also, lifelong learnings that can be cheriished for a long time. Nevertheless, mot every educational institute is able to provide this support where a student can thrive completely. Keele University in the United Kingdom had provided the learning environment where as an international student, I felt safe, inclusive and had learner autonomy with proper expertise from the mentors. I had spectacular experience being among the student community's cultural exchange and heart-warming support from the faculty, especically my Master's department-TESOL. Not only the faculties of TESOL, also the whole language centre was very supportive and encouraging for the students. I felt the same positive energy from any staff of Keele University. I never felt I was in a foriegn country in a foriegn university, the inclusive learning environment made me feel a member of the beautiful Keele campus genuinely. I would like to recommend Keele University to any student around the world, because there, they could find administrative support, student counselling support, expert mentors' supervision, and a world-class standard education simultaneously.

Student services
If you need to talk to someone, whether it’s about your studies or life outside of them, Keele has a Student Experience and Support team based within every Faculty, offering one-to-one support and helping you to access any additional support you might need including financial guidance, support for disabilities, specific learning difficulties and long-term health conditions, support around wellbeing and counselling, or accessing their chaplaincy and faith services. Every Keele student can also access a 24-hour support line through their Student Assistance Programme, offering support for concerns such as stress and anxiety, low mood, family issues, bereavement, financial wellbeing and relationship advice.
Housing services
Keele has over 2,600 bedrooms on campus, all within a short walk of central teaching spaces, shops, and food and drink venues. Their Residence Life team supports students who live in halls of residence on campus, ensuring a community where students can relax, have fun, and feel connected, safe and secure. They offer guaranteed accommodation on campus for September entry undergraduate applicants who make Keele their firm choice, and who apply for accommodation by the deadline date (terms and conditions apply).
Library services
Keele University Library provides students with access to thousands of physical and online resources, including books, eBooks, journals, databases, and past exam papers. The library offers a variety of study spaces, including silent, individual, and collaborative areas, as well as bookable study rooms and 24/7 access during term time.
ICT services
Keele's IT Services team provides students with a wide range of digital support and technology services to help them study and stay connected on campus and online. Students have access to university email, Wi-Fi across campus, Microsoft 365 applications, online learning platforms, printing services, and secure file storage.
Medical services
Keele provides students with access to medical and wellbeing support. Students are encouraged to register with a local GP practice and can access a range of healthcare services, including general medical advice, vaccinations and mental health support. They also offer wellbeing and counselling support to help manage physical and mental health during studies.
Campus life
Located in the Staffordshire countryside, but within easy reach of a bustling town, vibrant city and their noisy neighbours of Manchester and Birmingham, Keele offers the best of both worlds: a close-knit campus community and an exciting local area to explore.
They're just minutes from the university town of Newcastle-under-Lyme, with a variety of bars, cafes, supermarkets and entertainment venues - including a renowned theatre - and the ever-developing city of Stoke-on-Trent is a short bus ride away.
Jump on the train and they're less than an hour away from the bright lights of both Manchester and Birmingham too.
Sports facilities
As a 600 acre campus University, Keele offers everything you might expect in a small town. Plus, some things you might not expect, like a beach volleyball court, football and hockey pitches.
