About

History

  • In the early years of Toronto, the Humber River provided the local industry with the energy source and communications link it needed to flourish. In 1967, Humber College took on that heritage, dedicating itself to the communication of ideas and energy that would foster lifelong learning.

Education

  • Humber College offers a broad range of credentials including bachelor's degrees, diplomas, certificates and Ontario graduate certificates — and will help you chart the best path towards your goals.
  • Humber professors bring a wealth of relevant industry experience to the classroom. Class sizes are small, and simulation labs and work placements bridge the gap between classroom and industry.
  • Humber College put theory into practice from day one, which is important because work-integrated learning means you will have experience working in your industry before you graduate! When you leave Humber you will be a professional, poised and ready to make your mark.

Research

  • Applied Research & Innovation supports collaboration, applied research, and innovation at Humber and in the community.
  • Humber's network of Centres of Innovation (COIs) bring together interdisciplinary teams of faculty, students, and community and industry partners to solve complex, real-world problems. COIs provide an experiential learning environment for Humber students.
  • The Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation is home to many applied research projects with diverse partners across multiple sectors. Humber is transforming learning by converging industry, community and education to find innovative solutions to real-world problems.

Great professors, interactive learning, small classrooms and overall welcoming feel.

Anonymous rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have had a decent study experience through my high school years. With a few exceptions with professors being overly hard in marking. But overall good experience and I hope that happens as well with the colleges I have applied for
