Loved attending UCONN. Lots of clubs and activities. Big campus and lots of students. Learned a lot during my time there and felt very supported by staff. Dorms were okay. Got better during 3rd and 4th year.
Great school, good community, something for everyone. Hundreds of clubs from intermural sports and accappela groups, to belly-dancing and stand-up comedy. You can tell the professors care about their students and most students care about their studies.
Great university academics wise, but it is so isolated location wise. You'll either live near campus and have no life, or you'll have a life but live 30+ minutes away. Keep that in mind if you come to the university of Connecticut! You'll defs need a car for that reason.
