The dramatic account of SUU founders provides an example of fortitude for today’s modern university experience. In 1897, the newly organized Utah Legislature called for the hurried establishment of a teacher training school to provide for the region’s emerging pioneer settlement communities.
With more than 140 majors, minors, certificates, and graduate degrees, SUU has the programs you need to get where you want to go. And if you aren’t sure where to focus your talents, then search for a program based on what you’re interested in and we can help build the perfect degree for you.
The Office of Institutional Research & Assessment supports SUU’s mission fulfillment by providing data and data analysis to inform institutional and programmatic planning, decision-making, and assessment. In addition to meeting internal data needs, the Office of IR & Assessment also represents SUU to external stakeholders by responding to report and data requests from state, federal, and other external agencies. Our office coordinates and collaborates with other entities on campus to ensure data integrity.

If there is not a club that fits what you are looking for it is super quick to start a new one. You will need 5 students, a full or part-time faculty or staff advisor, and will need to fill out the Club Registration Form on T-Bird Connection.
My study experience has been very good. I think that my university offers good programs and support to students. Sometime, some academic paths can be confusing. For example, I feel like sometimes I am not sure what courses I will need and when. Although, usually when I ask professors or advisors for help they are supportive.
I really like how small the classes are. You get to know the professor better and they can focus on you more since they have less students under them.
I like how you can get to know the professor better and they can really help you if you need anything.
