UTAS Library plays a pivotal role in supporting the learning, teaching and research of the University. The Library has a physical presence in seven locations across four campuses and delivers a wide range of online resources and services both on and off-campus.

The University of Tasmania has campuses within the three main regions of Tasmania – Hobart in the south, Launceston in the north and Burnie in the north-west – ensuring full representation throughout the state. Our campuses make the most of Tasmania's geographical advantages including rivers, mountains and beaches and are close to business hubs and public facilities. In 2006 the University expanded, establishing two campuses in Sydney – Darlinghurst and Rozelle.
Unigym is a multi-purpose fitness centre located on the University of Tasmania Sandy Bay, Newnham and Cradle Coast campuses.
The centres provide health and fitness services including fully-equipped weights and cardio areas as well as a range of group fitness classes. There are also squash courts, tennis courts, sports halls and sports grounds available to hire.
Established in 1899, the TUU represented only southern students for much of its history, but in 2008 it amalgamated the Student Association in the north of the state, now encompassing the entire university. The TUU provides a wide range of services to students. These services currently include:

I really liked that the course was new in a growing field. The teaching method could be improved to have more practice material for engineering design examples as well as more of the material online and in advance.
This university attracts a high caliber of natural science academics due to the pristine setting of the island of Tasmania. However the university has very little in the way of student support networks and industry affiliations are limited. This leads to a rather competitive student body and real lack of facilitated post graduate pathways.
