History

Founded in 1870 as the Colorado Agricultural College, Colorado State University is now among the nation's leading research universities. Our world-class research in infectious disease, atmospheric science, clean energy technologies, environmental science, and biomedical technology attracted more than $300 million in research funding annually.

Sports facilities

  • Take the competition to the next level by joining a sport club, which are student-managed teams that train together, travel, and compete on a national level. We offer dozens of programs ranging from Rugby and Soccer to Water Polo and Rodeo.
  • As student-managed organizations, team members are involved in fundraising, coaching selection, budgets, and more. Sport Clubs students are serious athletes and games/matches are held throughout the state and country. Our teams are kind of a big deal, too, raking in over 25 national championships! Way to be, Rams!

Accreditation

  • Colorado State is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, a Commission of the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. To ensure academic excellence and fiscal stability, this accreditation requires an institutional review at a minimum of every ten years.
  • As Colorado State University reaffirms its academic accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association, the University has prepared a self-study which is posted, along with other information about the accreditation process.

CSU has always been very good to me, I have through its academics been able to bring myself to new intellectual heights. The classes at CSU are generally informative and useful while the student life is lively and engaging. Professors at this school are willing to take on motivated and talented students to as employees which also is a great opportunity. The only detriments...

Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade has different types of tutors with different styles and they request different thing in there on way. One bad thing about my faculty is that we wouldn't learn much about the landscape architecture through engineering or in practical things (those were the things that we learn on horticulture part)...we were mostly free to create artistic...
