The Curriculum and Instruction - Math and Science programme at California State University Fullerton is designed in response to the urgent nationwide call for excellence in mathematics and science teaching at all levels, preschool through grade 8. The programme enriches and deepens teachers’ understanding of mathematics and science curriculum and pedagogy, provides the opportunity to promote problem solving specifically through the use of technology, and prepares teachers for leadership roles in their schools and districts in math and science.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or GPA of 3.0 in last 60 units.

Successful completion of a teacher credential programme. For information about obtaining a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, view our credentials information.

If an applicant has not completed a credential programme, the department will consider equivalent experience in lieu of a credential.
