Description
The Farnham Family Endowed Scholarship was established by Paul and Dena Farnham to help students pursuing a graduate degree in either the Teaching or Computational and Applied Mathematics programs and who are also currently teaching or have taught at the secondary school level.
Benefits
The scholarship offers a $1,500 amount to help you with your studies.
Eligibility
This scholarship is open to students who meet the following criteria:
- Open to new and continuing students pursuing one of the following programs:
- M.A. in Mathematics, Teaching Option
- M.S. in Computational and Applied Mathematics
- Demonstrated financial need by filing the 2026–27 FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
Applicants must also meet the following criteria:
- Currently teach, have previously taught, or plan to teach at the secondary or post-secondary level.
Criteria - Applications will be evaluated based on the following:
- Enrollment in one of the eligible graduate programs (Teaching or Computational and Applied Mathematics).
- Current or prior teaching experience at the secondary school level.
- Commitment to teaching and advancing mathematical education.
