The International Student Advisers, based in the Student Advice and Support Office, are here to provide advice and information on international student life at the University and in the UK. They are professionally trained to provide specialist guidance on UK visa and immigration matters.

Housing services

All new students are guaranteed a place in student accommodation, either on the campus or close by so no need to set the alarm too early!

Aberdeen is unusual for a big-city university in having a lot of student accommodation within walking distance of its main teaching site. There is a choice of University-managed halls and privately-owned and managed halls, all situated within easy walking distance of the campus.

Students who do not want to stay in Halls of Residence can choose from a wide range of alternative accommodation throughout the city. There are lodgings available in all parts of Aberdeen and the Students' Association can provide a list of Solicitors and Estate Agents on request.
