In 1923, Henry Clay Morrison began Asbury Theological Seminary with a class of three students and fashioned a seal for the Seminary which audaciously reads “The Whole Bible for the Whole World.” Nearly 100 years later, those three students number in the tens of thousands with a second full campus in Orlando, Florida.
During your time at Asbury Theological Seminary, you’ll have the opportunity to grow in community through corporate worship, ministry experience, leadership opportunities, and, of course, biblical and theological studies. Whether you’re pursuing a master of divinity, master of arts or a post-graduate degree, you’ll be better equipped to fulfill your call.
The Asbury Seminary community is a family of believers who have committed themselves to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We seek to live out this commitment in lives of sanctity, both personal and social. As servants of Christ and as ministers to one another, students, faculty, staff and administrators seek to develop relationships in mutual respect. We exercise our individual and collective responsibilities within the policies and structures which make it possible for the whole institution to fulfill its ministry.

This office continues to be international students’ main point of contact throughout their time at Asbury Seminary in all visa-related issues.
New Student Orientation (NSO) is a special time designed to orient incoming students and their families to Asbury Theological Seminary’s campus and surrounding community and ready hearts and minds for the formational experience of seminary. This is also a unique opportunity to connect with students, staff, and faculty as we seek to celebrate the work God has done in the lives of new students, foster community, and provide key tools and necessary information.
Technology resources include video production services and an information commons. The Information Commons is housed in the B.L. Fisher Library and contains Windows-based computers and Macintosh computers for students. There is also a student video editing bay.
