Research
The university provides a student-centered learning environment that facilitates students’ identification of their life goals and the means to achieve those goals. The university promotes a culture of teaching excellence throughout the institution which is augmented by a culture of research at the graduate level, and it also encourages faculty, students, administration and staff to participate in service activities and projects that enhance the quality of life in the local and surrounding communities. Upon completion of a program, the university provides employment assistance to graduates.

Recommend
I would 100% recommend this college to anyone trying out college, starting college after graduating high school, or anyone who isn�t sure about what they want to do just yet. I liked the location, the ability to transfer after two years, and the professors of this college. The professors are really engaging and are willing to help you during, before, and after class hours. The location is on a beautiful landscape with mountains and a lake nearby in the background of the campus. The ability to transfer after two years of this college is great, you can learn and ease your way into college before jumping into a bigger school. This college really helps shape you for further education and development before you move on or help you in a career path. The only thing I may dislike about the college is that it is a two year school, knowing this may help you for other problems. I would recommend this college to everyone in anyway, shape, or form. This is a great college to get your feet wet for the experience and knowledge you want to learn.

Silliman University really amazes me with how inclusive they are to every individual in their community, whether you're a student, professor, or an office employee. The university puts significance on their 5Cs: the classroom, the Church, the cultural center, the (athletic) court, and the community. The people and the university itself is very open to everyone. So far I can say that they unfolded something in my personality as an individual, they made me be myself for who I am. I'm glad to meet the people and the teachers in the university.
