Overview
What you will learn
Apply to the Aerospace Engineering MSc program at University of Southern California.
At University of Southern California , the Aerospace Engineering (AME) Department’s faculty has adopted three major Strategic Themes to help guide the directions and enrich the contents of our education and research programs:
- Exploration Technologies
- The Art, Science and Technology of the Design and Manufacturing, and
- Aerospace/Mechanical Technologies for Improving the Quality of Urban Life
The Strategic Themes have been formulated to address the future and are also influenced by USC's location at the center of a technologically sophisticated, intensely urban area. Disciplinary and multidisciplinary Faculty Research Interest Clusters within AME provide research support for the Themes. The multifaceted influence of the Strategic Themes on our undergraduate and graduate programs in education and research is exhibited throughout this web site.
Accreditation
The University of South Califronia (USC) is accredited by the Senior College and University Commission (WASC Senior or WSCUC) of the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC). The WASC accreditation process aids institutions in developing and sustaining effective educational programs and assures the educational community, the general public, and other organizations that an accredited institution has met high standards of quality and effectiveness. The Commission accredits institutions, not individual programs.
USC is one of the world’s leading private research universities. Established in 1880, it’s also one of the oldest. With a strong tradition of integrating liberal and professional education, USC fosters a vibrant culture of public service and encourages students to cross academic as well as geographic boundaries in their pursuit of knowledge.
Graduate students at USC are key members of the university’s community of scholars, contributing diverse viewpoints and fresh insights that are poised to make their mark on the theories, systems, inventions, public policy, and creative work of the 21st century.Programme Structure
