You'll work with experienced and practicing educational leaders to develop your leadership capacity and translate theory into practice, in order to transform your organization.This program is aimed at professional educators looking to become school or district administrators (certification option) or for individuals seeking to increase their preparation toward a doctorate degree in education (thesis option). You'll work with an adviser to tailor a course schedule based on your areas of interest.

Applicants must have completed a master’s degree in education or related field.
Regular admission in the program requires a graduate grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4-point scale).
Applicants must provide evidence of promise as an administrator by preparing and submitting an admission portfolio directly to the Department of Educational Leadership. The following items must be included in the contents of the portfolio:
