The AAUW - M. Ruth Evans Memorial Scholarship was established in 1991 by Jackie M. Evans, members of the M. Ruth Evans family, and members of the Mount Pleasant, Michigan branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) in memory of M. Ruth Evans, wife, mother and friend.
