Description

The Johnie D. Smith Memorial Scholarship was established in 2003 by the Association of Faculty and Staff of Color (now disbanded) to honor Johnie D. Smith (Class of 1986), CMU professor of African-American history and constitutional history of the United States. Dr. Smith passed away in 1997.

  • Preference will be given to students that reside in the Saginaw, Midland, or Mount Pleasant areas
