Baldwin Wallace University's Mild to Moderate Educational Needs offers Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) options for current educators, initial licensure candidates and professionals in the public and private sectors to expand their professional credentials. Candidates will bring their professional practice to a new level, master the latest technologies and enhance leadership skills. Classes are offered in both the traditional seated format and online, depending on the program. Programs can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis.

Program Features

36 Semester Hours Leads To The Maed Degree And The Intervention Specialist License (K-12). Teachers May Also Add The Intervention Specialist License (24 Semester Hours) Without Completing The Entire Master's Degree. Enroll On Campus Or Online.
Licensed Teachers May Enroll Part Time And Complete The Maed In As Little As Two Years. The Intervention Specialist License Alone May Be Completed In 14 Months.
Students Enrolling In The Bw License + Master's Program Should Plan Additional Time To Complete Their Program Due To Undergraduate Course And Clinical Requirements.
The Program Includes A Practicum In Which Students Work In A Supervised Setting With Children Who Have Been Diagnosed With Learning Disabilities.
Successful Completion Of The State Exam Is Required For License Eligibility In Mild/moderate Educational Needs.
