Phillips Law Firm has dedicated many years to advocacy on behalf of families overcoming serious car accidents. Beginning this year, their personal injury lawyers want to extend that advocacy to students who've survived the unthinkable.
They invite undergraduate and graduate students who’ve experienced a traumatic car accident to apply for their A Second Chance Scholarship. This scholarship promises an award to a student who can create a video sharing the story of their accident and examples of how that accident shaped their future working prospects.
Students will receive the scholarship award in the amount of $2,500.

Their scholarship selection committee wants students who've overcome traumatic car accidents to create videos up to three minutes in length discussing:
How a car accident influenced their everyday lives
How a car accident changed an applicant’s plans for the future
They ask students to please record their videos in well-lit areas while holding their recording device of choice as still as possible. They also encourage applicants to minimize external noises to preserve their audio quality.
Students have until July 31, to submit their complete applications to Phillips Law Firm’s scholarship selection committee. Applicants can use the scholarship application form available on the firm’s website to complete their applications.
