The Special Education - The Master Teacher program from Central Michigan University will expand your skills and knowledge to new areas of special education as you prepare for a broad range of teaching and administrative roles. You'll focus on current issues in special education, curriculum development, evaluation, and research to address the unique needs and challenges of the field.

CMU's Educator Preparation Programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

This program is available only to individuals who hold PreK-12 general or special education certification.

This program may be available to individuals with undergraduate degrees interested in working specifically with students with cognitive impairment.
