Overview
The Architecture and Urban Planning programme at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee offers a unique opportunity to earn two professional degrees through a coordinated curriculum. This dual-track approach allows students to master both architectural design and urban policy in less time than completing the degrees separately.
By integrating these disciplines, the programme prepares graduates to address complex challenges such as climate resilience, housing, and mobility. Students develop a holistic understanding of the built environment, ranging from individual building design to large-scale regional planning and social infrastructure.
Each student benefits from a curriculum taught by experienced faculty members who are active professional architects and planners.
