History
The MA programme carries a total of 64 credits. Students in the History programme from Jawaharlal Nehru University are advised to distribute these over four semesters in 16 credits per semester. In order to fulfill the requirements of the Master's programme, students are required to compulsorily credit the following set of Courses in the two years of their Masters programme.
Sanskrit
As per the Jawaharlal Nehru University norms, to qualify for Sanskrit M.Phil. degree, a student will have to earn 24 credits in all i.e. 16 credits of course work of two semesters (4 courses of 4 credits each) and 8 credits of dissertation.
History
The MPhil History programme at Jawaharlal Nehru University is made up of coursework and a dissertation. The coursework has to be completed in the first two semesters before the dissertation can be written and submitted (third and fourth semesters).
Inner Asian Studies
