Services

Student services

To say that you'll have a great time at NNU would be an understatement. The Office of Student Development is here to make sure of that. We take care of every aspect of your student experience, from where you live to what you do on Thursday nights (Brick House, baby). Here's just a sample of what's in store:

Housing services

Our students and alumni will tell you that most of their best college memories were made while living on campus. Whether it's a late night run to Merrits for a world-famous scone, competing in intramurals with your wing, or deep conversations with your roommate, living in a caring community is an integral part of the NNU experience.

Library services

Vital to the educational and intellectual life of the university, the John E. Riley Library contains almost 117,000 printed books, 140,000 electronic books and currently receives thousands of electronic periodicals. The library also has approximately 60,000 volumes in collections of microforms, non-print materials, and federal government documents, for which the library is a selective depository.

Medical services

The Wellness Center is here to keep you healthy, both physically and emotionally. They offer services such as basic first aid, counseling, and UV light therapy to conquer the winter blues.

Student Life

Campus life

Seven residence halls provide a variety of residential settings from the traditional Culver, Dooley, Ford and Sutherland Halls, which typically house underclassmen, to the Corlett, Olsen and Kirkeide apartment complexes, which provide the added amenities of apartment-style living along with the traditional benefits and convenience of on-campus living.

Sports facilities

NNU is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and fully endorses and abides by the organization's philosophy and bylaws. Our athletes elevate their game in 13 men's and women's NCAA Division II teams, routinely winning conference championships.

Student clubs

More than 40 different clubs and organizations exist on campus, engaging students in the pursuit of various interests including ministry, service, recreation, academics and athletics.

Accreditation

Northwest Nazarene University offers associates, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in a range of content areas. NNU is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), a regional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
