Université Côte d’Azur (Université Côte d’Azur) is a recently created cluster of higher education establishments on the French Riviera that brings together the major players in higher education and research on the Côte d’Azur.
Basically multidisciplinary, the Université Côte d'Azur has structured the Bachelor's degree courses in the same field of study within portals that allow them to share disciplinary and transversal teaching units and to offer students a progressive specialization through the construction of a personalized path. Each licensing portal is in a privileged relationship with one or more of the 8 University Research Schools that structure master's and doctoral courses by major disciplinary sector while backing them up with research conducted in the university's laboratories.
Université Côte d'Azur also unifies research activities between the various laboratories and the Schools of the Arts, SKEMA and EDHEC, members of UCA. Together with its laboratories, the university carries out its actions through academies of excellence, Institutes of innovation and partnership, and a Center for the modeling of simulation and interactions (MSI).

By spreading the word about the scientific strengths and successes of UCA research, we hope to enhance the ability of UCA to attract the best faculty, student, and staff talent from around the world, and to optimize the reputation and standing of UCA with international funding and university ranking agencies.
The Université Côte d'Azur, like all French universities, does not have its own student residences. However, there are different options for housing in the Alpes-Maritimes area.
In France, the process of reserving and entering your home includes many formalities that apply to both the public and private sectors.A deposit will be required at the time of booking (by the student residences) or at the time of signing the lease (by the landlord). This deposit will protect the landlord and allow for the repair of potential damage if the tenant does not return the place to the same condition as it was at the beginning of the contract.
Holders of a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) are covered by the corresponding social security agency in their home country, which will continue to take care of their reimbursements. In case of illness, there is only a co-payment due after presenting the EHIC.
If you do not have an EHIC or a temporary certificate, you must register with the French health insurance agency.

I think it covers all the aspects of modern day Biobanking but with a huge bias towards the human biobanks so if you are interested in the plants and microbial biobanks then this is not the course for you. And before I forget it has 2 internships opportunities to go abroad or remain in France...I guess the choice is yours!
I had lot's of fun and the professors followed every student individually very well.
Very good experience
