
Overview
The Biobanks and Complex Data Management MSc program from University of Côte d'Azur is designed for students with a background in biological sciences looking to acquire professional skills to deliver an evolving biobank service that meets regulatory and user requirements. It offers international exchanges among a wide network of academic and industry partners providing students with exposure to diverse perspectives and expertise. Students will gain practical skills and real-world experience through two in-company internships of six months each year.
A Biobank is a biological material repository that collects, processes, stores, and distributes biospecimens to support scientific investigation. The main objective of this MSc is to acquire knowledge, experience, and practical skills that will qualify graduates to work in the multidisciplinary field of biobanking (humans, animals, plants, and other living organisms) and complex data management.
Developed by leading experts in the field, the MSc Biobanking and Complex Data Management is the first in Europe of its kind.

The selection is a 2 phase process:
- A first selection is made based on the evaluation of your application form and supporting documents.
- The pre-selected candidates will then be invited for a face-to-face interview conducted in English. The applicants are encouraged to discuss their unique background, motivation, interests, and goals during this interview.

- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Two online letters of recommendation (should be from a professor)
- Motivation letter
- A test may be required to evaluate the skills in biology
