The modern UNBC story began in January 1987. Three local residents - Tom Steadman, Charles McCaffrey, and Bryson Stone - had been talking about the idea of a northern university and decided to see if their idea had any merit by each inviting 10 people to a meeting on the topic. 40 showed up.

University of Northern British Columbia is a great place to study. I felt uncomfortable when I started studying at this university. This was due to the fact that I have never studied abroad. Once my professors and classmate realized what I was going through, all of them gave me a helping hand.
I liked the small classes and faculty to student ratio. The sports facilities were also very nice. I liked being surrounded by nature all around the campus.
Yeas my study experience is good because i m study with honesty i have need to education its opportunity for me
