Incredible Research Experience
This summer undergraduate research program was absolutely transformative. I got the incredible opportunity to work full-time in a lab on a cell senescence project alongside PhD students, gaining hands-on wet lab and data analysis skills that I couldn’t get in the classroom. The program also taught me essential academic skills: how to prepare and present lab meeting PPTs, participate in weekly journal clubs, and ultimately design a research poster and deliver a conference presentation. The full funding package was a huge plus: free on-campus housing and a generous $6,200 stipend removed all financial stress, letting me focus entirely on my research. The mentorship from faculty and graduate students was outstanding, and I built lasting professional connections. Overall, this program exceeded all my expectations. It not only strengthened my research skills and prepared me for graduate school but also gave me a clear path forward in my academic career. The only minor area for improvement would be more structured networking events with industry professionals, but this is a small critique of an otherwise perfect experience.
Small university in the south-west of France
It is a little university with high quality teachers. Because we are not a lot in classes, teachers take time to explain not understood points. There are three "fields" of study : law, science and literature (history, languages, geography...).
My university experience
My university offers vast practical training as well as specialized theoretical knowledge. During my education at University of Applied Sciences in Nysa I had a lot of international experience opportunities. Among with being a tutor to Erasmus+ students in Poland, I attended 2-week international Summer Program in Mexico, Ensenada. I also spend one semester abroad in Podgorica, Montenegro.
