Founded in 1963, UCF and its 13 colleges offer more than 216 degrees from UCF’s main campus, hospitality campus, health sciences campus, online and through its 12 regional locations.
The 1,415-acre main campus is 13 miles east of downtown Orlando and adjacent to one of the top research parks in the nation. Regional campuses are located throughout Central Florida and include a fully accredited College of Medicine in the Medical City at Lake Nona.
UCF was ranked as the nations No. 3 Up-and-Coming university in the 2015 U.S. News & World Reports Best Colleges rankings. Last year, Kiplingers and The Princeton Review ranked UCF as one of the nations best values for a college education.
The University of Central Florida is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award degrees at the associate, baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral levels.
