The Interactive Entertainment program of University of Central Florida teaches artists, programmers, and producers the techniques, tools, and skills to succeed in the gaming industry.

Overview

The Interactive Entertainment program of University of Central Florida provides specific skills in the area of game design, as well as essential skills such as problem solving, teamwork, and project management.

FIEA provides a team-based, industry-oriented education in a world-class facility located at UCF’s Center for Emerging Media in downtown Orlando. Student production teams are mentored by industry experts and researchers who provide instruction in game design, technical design, creative collaboration, rapid prototyping, 3-D animation and modeling, technical art, motion capture, software engineering, legal and ethical issues, preproduction, and postmortems. Graduates have access to internship opportunities and job interviews with game and media companies from across the country.

GRE admission requirements GRE® The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. It contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.
