Education is future-oriented — it's about development and growth even when we are studying the past. Education is giving or receiving knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgement, using inspiration, tapping into creativity, taking risks and developing emotional and intellectual resilience. In our society, education implies school and whether you teach others or are in the process of learning yourself, education focuses on knowledge and on the intellect. Through the fine art of bringing out what is latent in a person, we learn as we teach.
Career success requires more than just specialized technical knowledge for a particular field. To excel, you must develop the competencies top employers tell us they value most, such as emotional intelligence, problem solving, verbal communications, business acumen, critical thinking and project management. The focus on these professional competencies throughout the School’s post-graduate certificates will improve your leadership strength and effectiveness.

It’s a great university
not the best but the degree I really would like to pursue is only available over seas and currently international tuition is very expensive hence why I opted for York. Its not a bad school, but some of the profs are subpar in my opinion
Study at York University was a great opportunity for me. Although pandemic changed my experience from the academic environment but I gained valuable knowledge from professors and assignments.
