History
- The Queensland Institute of Technology (Capricornia) (QITC) was founded in Rockhamptonin 1967.
- The University College of Central Queensland achieved full University status and The Hon. Stan Jones AO, named first Chancellor in 1992.
- Name change to Central Queensland University in 1994 and then rebrand to CQUniversity Australia in 2009.

My Experience at University of Australia
As I prepare to embark on my MPH journey at the University of Australia, I'm excited to share my expectations and hopes for the program. Based on my research and understanding of the program's curriculum, I think I'll really appreciate: - The interdisciplinary approach to public health, which will allow me to explore various aspects of the field. - The opportunity to learn from experienced faculty who are passionate about public health. - The research opportunities that will enable me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems. As for areas for improvement, I hope that the program will: - Provide a balance between theoretical and practical coursework to ensure I'm well-equipped to tackle real-world challenges. - Offer opportunities for industry connections and networking to help me build relationships with professionals in the field. - Provide adequate support services for students, including mental health resources and academic mentorship. Overall, I'm looking forward to a challenging and rewarding experience that will equip me with the knowledge, skills, and expertise to make a positive impact in public health.
