My experience at Osun State University (UNIOSUN) was overall positive and enriching. The academic programme was rigorous, helping me develop strong theoretical and practical knowledge. Professors were generally knowledgeable and approachable, with some standing out for their passion and mentorship. Campus life was vibrant, with opportunities to participate in student associations and events, which enhanced my personal and professional growth. Areas for improvement include laboratory and library resources, which could be better equipped to support practical learning. I would recommend Osun State University to students looking for a challenging yet supportive academic environment.
Studying Economics at Osun State University was a bittersweet experience. On one hand, the program offered solid academic content and some truly dedicated lecturers who pushed us to think critically and apply economic theory to real-world issues. I appreciated the structure of the curriculum and the occasional seminars that broadened our perspective. However, there were challenges too�limited access to updated learning resources, occasional administrative delays, and infrastructure issues that sometimes disrupted the learning process. Despite these setbacks, the experience taught me resilience and adaptability. I would recommend the university to students who are self-driven and ready to make the most of what�s available. It�s not perfect, but it can shape you in unexpected ways.
Yes the University is good, decent environs, would recommend it to anyone, one of it flaws remains lecture hall clashes and departments accreditation which affected me mostly. The Uni had a public wifi which goes mostly at night for students a good library, though power is not available always at nights for late reading and sorts, even with the fact that the wifi uses light, which would be of benefit to student research and temporary relaxation

The OSU wired network is available to more than 95 percent of the Stillwater campus.
