Overview

The Computer Science programme is offered by Oklahoma State University.

In addition to taking a prescribed set of core courses, you must take sufficient courses in one specialized area and complete either the thesis or non-thesis option. Recent thesis work includes sentiment analysis, healthcare informatics, machine learning.

Research and Faculty

The Oklahoma State University Department of Computer Science’s research and teaching strengths lie in the increasingly important areas of data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, cyber-physical systems, virtual reality, cyber-security and theoretical computer science.

There is ample opportunity for students to work with faculty in different research labs and many students are offered summer internships in the industry. In addition, many companies come to campus to recruit.
